How to limit or change the amount of disk space used for Temporary Internet Files at user basis and machine basis in a Group Policy.

Create a new group policy and link it to the particular Site, Domain or OU you wish to limit or change the Temporary Internet Files size.

Edit the particular Group Policy Object. Navigate to
Internet Explorer Maintenance and then right click at the Internet Explorer Maintenance Node, Click
Preference Mode (See the picture below)


 

Advanced node should now appearing under nternet Explorer Maintenance Node, Click Advanced . (See picture below)



 

Right Click Corporate Setting and click Properties. (See Picture below)


 

In appearing window Corporate Setting Properties you are available to limit the amount of disk space to use in kilobytes at a peer user basis. (See Picture below)




You are also
available to limit the amount of disk space to use in kilobytes at a peer machine basis. We also have the option to Disable Roaming Cache in Roaming profiles (See Picture below)

This is how we can limit or change the amount of disk space used for Temporary Internet Files at user basis and machine basis in a Group Policy.
